Further details of Gordon Brown’s government reshuffle have been announced.
Liberal Democrat peer Lady Neuberger has been appointed by the Prime Minister to advise him on voluntary sector issues.
Neuberger was a rabbi at the South London Liberal Synagogue from 1977-89 and has also been chair of Camden and Islington Community Health Services NHS trust and chief executive of the King’s Fund.
Immigration minister Liam Byrne is set to keep his current job.
There has been no announcement as yet on who will be appointed Care Services Minister but more news of ministerial appointments can be found at the UK Parliament website.
