Cameron's social work reforms
David Cameron has made reforming children's social work a defining mission of his second term as prime minister, 2015-20. The government has initiated a huge programme of change designed to raise standards of training, practice and management, and root out approaches deemed to be failing vulnerable children. Some - but by no means all - of this reforming zeal is being extended to adults' services.
