If you would you like to find out more about working as a social worker in children’s social care and what West Sussex can offer, sign up and join this virtual meet the team event on Wednesday 12 May from 5.30pm – 6.30pm.
This will be an interactive event with short presentations from social workers across our service, with the opportunity for you to ask any questions you have. Come along and get a real taste of our improvement journey and why West Sussex is a great place to come and work.
Social workers have continued to support vulnerable children and families during a challenging period due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Their efforts to ensure continuity of support for families has not stopped, despite the changes in how they have had to meet with parents and children.
We hear from some of those social workers at West Sussex County Council’s children’s service to find out how they have continued to support children through the pandemic.
